At FrostFlex Units, we proudly manufacture and ship custom-built blast freezers, cold storage containers, and meat processing equipment to food producers around the world.
This Shipping Policy explains how we handle delivery, logistics, packaging, and risk management for each order.
🔹 1. Global Shipping Coverage
We ship to a wide range of countries with strong food processing, export, or cold-chain logistics needs.

🔹 2. Delivery Methods
We offer flexible shipping based on unit size, weight, and destination:

The delivery method and quote are determined after your order is confirmed, based on final specs and destination.
🔹 3. Shipping Cost & Invoicing
Shipping is not included in product pricing. Once production details are finalized, we will:
Prepare a separate shipping quote
Offer insurance (optional but strongly recommended)
Provide invoice with Incoterms (default: EXW or DAP based on client preference)
🔹 4. Estimated Delivery Timelines

🚧 These estimates exclude customs clearance delays, which are beyond our control.
🔹 5. Production Time
As all our units are made to order, production typically takes:
2–6 weeks, depending on complexity and capacity
Larger or specialized systems may require additional time
Once production is complete, you will receive photos, final dimensions, and shipping options for approval.
🔹 6. Packaging & Handling
All units are packed using our 3-layer protective method:
✅ Industrial foam padding
✅ Wooden crate
✅ Waterproof plastic wrap
This system ensures protection during:
Forklift handling
Customs inspections
Long-haul transport by sea, land, or air
📦 ISPM-15 certification is available upon request for countries requiring treated wood.
🔹 7. Shipping Insurance

⚠️ FrostFlex Units is not liable for lost or damaged shipments unless insurance is purchased and all documentation is provided by the client (photos, damage report, delivery receipt).
🔹 8. Customs, Duties & Import Responsibility
All shipments are handled under EXW or DAP terms, unless otherwise agreed.
Buyer is responsible for:
Import taxes
VAT or local duties
Customs brokerage or inspection fees
📄 We provide all necessary documents:
Commercial Invoice
Packing List
Certificate of Origin (upon request)
Technical Data Sheets
Serial Number Reference for customs
Customs issues do not qualify for refund or return requests.
🔹 9. Delivery & Receiving Responsibility
Buyers must ensure:
Someone is present at the delivery address
Forklift or unloading tools are available
The shipment is inspected before unwrapping
In case of damage or discrepancy:
📷 Take detailed photos of the exterior and interior
📝 Obtain a courier damage report
📧 Report the issue to us immediately
🚫 Failure to inspect and document voids any support or insurance claim.
🔹 10. Failed Deliveries
We are not responsible for failed deliveries due to:
Incorrect or incomplete address
Recipient unavailability
Refusal to pay import taxes
Lack of proper unloading capability
In such cases, redelivery, storage, or return costs will be billed to the client.
